Decadent Raspberry Sweet Rolls
I love cinnamon rolls! But did you know that you can branch out from the traditional flavor? These raspberry cinnamon rolls have all the sweet cinnamony goodness that you love with an added hint of raspberry.
These are only semi-homemade so they’re also easy to make and won’t take too much extra time if you’re a busy mom trying to get breakfast on the table.
If you’re looking to use these as a holiday treat check out my Grinch cinnamon rolls which use this same recipe.

How to make Raspberry cinnamon rolls

1 – Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Grease an 8×8 square or round baking pan.
2 – Open your Pillsbury crescent roll sheet, if you accidentally get crescent rolls instead of the sheet it will still work they just make look a little different.
3 – Spread the raspberry jam across the dough.
You want to use jam or jelly that is at room temperature or it’s really hard to spread…ask me how I know.
I used a raspberry fruit spread without a bunch of added sugar. I also prefer to use the seedless version but either kind will do.
4 – Sprinkle brown sugar over the top of the jam, I used slightly less than 1/4 cup.
5 – Next, sprinkle the cinnamon on top.
Optional: Sprinkle 1-1.5 tablespoons of melted butter over top. It will provide for a richer flavor but they’re are good both ways.
6 – Starting on the shorter edge roll the dough up into a log. Then slice it into 8-10 pieces. A serrated knife will make this easier.
The end pieces may be smaller and slightly differently shaped but they’ll be just as yummy.
7 – Place in the baking pan and bake for 18-20 minutes until they’re golden brown on top.
8 – Cream together the frosting ingredients and spread or drizzle over warm rolls. Serve them up and watch them quickly disappear.
For an extra touch top them with fresh raspberries. They add an extra taste of raspberry to the cinnamon rolls that is just perfection.
I hope you enjoy these delicious raspberry cinnamon rolls.
